I’ve never got past the first or second chapter on any CS Lewis that I’ve tried to read ... That approach is nonsensical to me.

That's a shame. I've found his writings explaining theological ideas of Christianity in straightforward ways a God-send (pun intended). But as Lewis often advises in his works, "if you don't find the following [paragraph, section, etc.] useful or understandable, just skip it and move on," which I guess is what you're doing.

Sorry that wasn’t me that was Clutch Martin!
I was just giving out the third definition (dictionary-wise) of the word apology.

I’ve read C.S. Lewis and enjoy them.
I find his SciFi trilogy the most intriguing.
