Who is arguing? And sometimes the extrapolation that they use to get to a point reads like a conundrum. At least in my mind it does. If people are not going to believe or don’t believe and they’re adults, their belief system is pretty much intact, the best they can hope for is possibly coming around of their own accord.
I don’t know I’ve never got past the first or second chapter on any CS Lewis that I’ve tried to read - and I have tried. That approach is nonsensical to me.
I would rather help the poor or feed the hungry in some way other than lecture.
Another thing is that CS Lewis had some colleagues and peers who were dubious to say the least, I think Crowley was one of them and Albert Pike was another... bad company corrupts good morals, on that point alone I would leave CS Lewis languishing on the book shelf.
