I think the Barbie movie will be out on July 21st.
That cannot come soon enough. I won’t be seeing it, but I’m tired of all the Pepto-Pink media saturation to promote it.
The star, Margot Robbie has been working ‘overtime’ promoting this film. She’s been everywhere, talking about it. Working alone, with no Ryan Gosling, for the most part. So, making the film is only a part of the actors’ obligation. When it’s done, then you have to travel to and fro, in tireless promotion.
She’s a good sport and can at least pretend she’s enjoying it.
No, they are immensely clever, and they run CIRCLES around the moron christians that gave up their civilization to these wicked evil creatures. And the foolish family who signed C.S. Lewis' legacy away for a large sum of shekels without likely any clause in the contract preventing a watering down or "reconstruction" of the original material. Netflix has a feeling they will lose money on Narnia. But they will have likely ruined that franchise for future generations, which makes it OK.
I am betting it will crash and burn, just like the last Toy Story...................

If this film does fail or only barely break even, usually the star is the first to be blamed. I don’t think it would happen here, b/c Margot Robbie is mainly known as a decent actress with a fun personality who happens to be hotter than Meghan Fox. IOW, she’s not a power broker yet, not a well known hands on control freak like Angelina Jolie.
Then, people would start to look at the direction or production.
What went wrong there? What flashing red warning lights were ignored, and by whom?

Apology - also means a reasoned argument or writing in justification of something, typically a theory or religious doctrine:
