Kevin Spacey has just entered courtroom one. He will have to be here for the next month. That is how long it is likely to take to hear the allegations, the witnesses and his defence.
A far cry from the theatres and cinemas he used to appear in.
At stake - his reputation, his legacy and his freedom.
His only role now: to convince the 12 jurors he is telling the truth when he says he didn’t sexually or indecently assault his four accusers.
What is Spacey accused of?
The actor faces twelve counts of alleged sexual offences, dating from 2001 to 2013.
They are:
Three counts of indecent assault
Seven counts of sexual assault
One count of causing a person to engage in sexual activity without consent
One count of causing a person to engage in penetrative sexual activity without consent
Spacey denies the charges.

Many of his previous accusers suffered coincidental deaths.
Kevin Spacey a ‘sexual bully’ says prosecution, as trial opens
Opening the prosecution case, Christine Agnew KC tells jury that Kevin Spacey is an “extremely famous” actor that many of them will know.
Agnew adds that the prosecution allege Spacey is also a man who “sexually assaults other men”.
The barrister says that Spacey is a “man who does not respect personal boundaries or space, a man who it would seem delights in making others feel powerless and uncomfortable – a sexual bully”.
Hollywood actor Kevin Spacey is ‘a sexual bully’ who ‘delights in making others feel powerless and uncomfortable’ sex attack trial where he is charged with attacking four men is told
I barely know who Spacey is but I was amused years ago when he was supposedly mugged in the wee hours in London, and how many of us immediately realized that he was homosexual.
Some of the testimony from the complainants are GRAPHIC
I dont know whether to post them or not
Probably best not to post it
You can read about it in reports, etc
We do not need to know how graphic homosexual can be. Many of us are worldly enough to know just how gross homosexual sex is.
Keep it to legal terms, because we will have a good idea otherwise.
Agree. I’m not posting most of it. It’s not appropriate.
No doubt it’ll be in the news anyway
You’re right I prefer not to post the sordid details.
The prosecution has just wrapped up opening statements:-
The prosecution has asked the jury to consider if the four accusers, who don’t know each other, were lying or trying to benefit financially.
Finishing the prosecution opening, Christine Agnew KC tells the court: “Mr Spacey Fowler [the actor’s full surname] abused the power and influence that his reputation and fame afforded him, taking advantage of his popularity and prominence, his illustriousness and influence.
“Taking what and who he wanted, when he wanted,” she concludes.
I follow British politics with some regularity. One of the claims that the Marxist opposition makes today is that rapes are almost never prosecuted and when they are guilty verdicts are rare. Given that it’s Marxists making the claims they certainly might be false...but they are made. Frequently.
What happened to the child rape cases from a few years ago?
“Many of us are worldly enough to know just how gross homosexual sex is.”
I think it’s gross but I’m not supposed to think that.
Remember Space, Clinton and Epstein flew all over the world together in Epstein’s jet.
“convince the 12 jurors he is telling the truth “
Urinalists!
He only needs to convince *ONE* juror.
