With a combination of savory and sweet, a local Massachusetts ice cream shop will be offering the unique flavor of everything bagel for the month of June or until supplies last.

J.P. Licks which has 17 stores throughout Massachusetts, will sell its new flavor at all its locations for those who want to enjoy the taste of garlic, poppy seeds, sesame seeds, dried onion, salt, and pieces of everything bagel, combined with J.P. Licks’ signature sweet ice cream, according to J.P Licks.

“When we say everything bagel, we mean it,” said J.P. Licks’ founder and owner Vincent Petryk. “Our new everything bagel ice cream packs a garlicky punch, but it also has the perfect balance of sweetness. We believe in serving breakfast all day long, especially as ice cream!”

As a company, J.P. Licks has employed up to 453 employees in the summer months, and since opening its doors has donated to small, local organizations.

They have also won awards over the years for their “intensely flavored homemade ice cream and frozen yogurt”, and have received over 300 “Best of” awards over the last 40 years. J.P Licks was also named Great Boston Chamber of Commerce’s 2006 “Small Business of the Year,” according to J.P. Licks.

Not only do they serve ice cream, but cakes, pies, coffee, and more is also in J.P. Lick’s inventory. For more information on J.P. Licks, click here.

I’m holding out for the tuna-fish-juice and cigarette-ash flavor.

I usually hate these gimmicky flavors in any sort of food, From Ice Cream to Pizza... But somehow this sounds to me like it could be edible. I’d try it if I ran across a pint of it in the store freezer, although I wouldn’t buy anything larger before tasting, nor go out of my way to find it.
