As a kid in the 1970s, I remember watching a Spider-Man cartoon episode I believed was called “Rocketship Earth” in which the villain used lasers and a volcano to move the other away from the Sun and Spidy had to reverse it in the end.

When cartoons become adult science, who would have ever thought?

In that case, we could just use Upsidasium to move the Earth to a new orbit. After all, the world's entire supply is located in Miinesota.
