Yup—even when Art Bell and his guests were totally crazy they were always entertaining.
The self-proclaimed time traveler guests (from the future) and callers were some of my favorites.
Their predictions of the future turned out to be 100% wrong—as were Art Bells btw.
Yup..very seldom a dull moment with that show.
All we would say is..WTF? We couldnt shut it off!
He would have some pretty high up people on there once in a blue moon. Professors and all that.
He’d ask them if time travel was possible and they’d explain yes it may be but not in our lifetime and explain why and all that. Then it was Katy bar the door the next show.

I really miss Art Bell. George could currently be replaced by chatgpt and it would probably be less unlistenable..
there is a torrent out there with about 64gb of artbell shows.
It is so unfortunate that all the really interesting shows are of low audio quality.
