I read and enjoyed a bunch of his Mario Balzic novels. Apparently his final novel, "Another Day's Pain," will be published soon.
If he had it do again, I wonder if he would be quite so concerned with maintaining his anonymity.

Greensburg, seat of Westmoreland County, is Trump country by over a 2 to 1 margin. Neighboring Allegheny County (Pittsburgh) is just a little less corrupt than Philadelphia.
People here do value their privacy as a result of that geography.
