A dispute that erupted when a schoolteacher in Tennessee snatched a cross necklace from a student before allowing the child into a book fair has been resolved with an apology from the teacher, and the school.
The American Center for Law and Justice reported Monday on the resolution.
The organization, known for fighting for religious rights across American and around the world, explained it was a "big win for religious freedom."
And the message sent by the resolution was not to "mess with the faith of our kids."
"Not long ago, we told you about a Tennessee middle school student who wore a cross around his neck to school. When the child entered the school library for a book fair, an event that many of us still remember looking forward to each year, he was greeted instead by a teacher who took the cross," the organization explained.
"That alone would be startling enough to any kid, but this educator did so in front of numerous other students, as if to add to the child’s humiliation..."

She would be fine if the student had a Church of Satan T-shirt.
Every kid in that lunatic’s class needs to turn up wearing crosses tomorrow.
There should be no discussion about this at all. First amendment is very plain just like the Second amendment is, read the words and burn them into your brain.
Plain and simple it is what it says there's no interpreting it amazes me how stupid some people are. But as I tell my wife on a regular basis, the bulk of people out there are stupid. We're in the top 5% of intelligence. The only reason the human race of survived this long is because of procreation it's purely in numbers thing. sheer numbers.

I’m currently listening to Grace to You sermons on living in America under judgment. This one is agrees how to live in a nation under divine abandonment.

Illegal as hell. Absolutely nothing in the law supports that. This kid just got their free ride to college paid for.
Try it with a child wearing a hijab
Not much of a resolution if the teacher has not been fired. If the teacher physically removed the cross, her termination should be followed up with criminal charges.
I put a chi ro sticker on my car, with the words "in hoc signo vinces" (in this sign shall thou conquer). In a short two weeks, I've gotten a couple agitated honks and curses, and also some favorable comments in parking lots.
Makes me think of Luke 12:49-53
