DeSantis was one of the last to comply, and only after Trump personally called him about it, after Trump issued his second order. The dates and times of it all are well documented.

DeSantis' instinct was to protect freedom and liberty. Then he listened to Trump and the Deep State behind Trump.

Then DeSantis realized this was the wrong course, fired his own surgeon general and opened the state back up while Trump and his Deep State buddies were still urging lockdowns, distancing and useless masks.
