Cool. Now do the reverse.

1. People act like you can never be screwed over or cheated or have your rights trampled on....even as they are doing exactly that to you.

2. People acting like its OK for women to be given an opt out when there’s a pregnancy, but men should be given absolutely no choice either way.

3. Having old women tell you what you “should” want in a partner.

4. Everything I say is “mansplaining”.

5. “Normal healthy masculinity described as “toxic” when nobody would dream of describing femininity as toxic.

6. The obsessive culture around obtaining status and making money that begins as a teen.

7. The constant threat of being falsely accused of “harassment” anytime I so much as talk to a female at work.

8. “The amount of hate men get for being traditionally masculine.

9. Claims that I’m in some way “hateful” if I’m not remotely interested in trannies.

10. Education being dominated by and totally geared to women. For example, its not natural for boys to just sit indoors all day. Boys need more physical activity.

11. There is a clear lack of empathy for men.

12. Regularly being screwed over in divorce proceedings.

14. Not being treated remotely equally in child custody cases.

16. Being judged for not wanting older women.

19. Constantly being the butt of every “joke” by Hollywood and always portrayed as an incompetent idiot in ads.

21. Having women expect men to obey all the old rules when it benefits them (for example men are expected pay for dates and register for the draft - but not women) but then expecting to also be able to demand full equality or even more than equality in other areas at the same time.

24. Women telling the lie that men with the same level of experience and putting in the same number of hours make more than women for the same job.

25. And finally, “The looming dread of even more rights being taken away.”

Good reply and you illustrate that both genders have their downsides and challenges. For every complaint of women, there is a complaint that men can make.

For example, women often complain about how they have to dress differently from men. Well I've been saying for years how that looks from a male standpont. Up until fairly recently, men didn't have much choices in how they dressed in the workplace. For decades, the company I spent my career working for mandated suits and ties, wingtips, and prohibited most facial hair and even longer hair in men. On the other hand, women had a huge range of options for their dress and none of them included having to wear a tie!

I especially remember the hot, humid days of summer, when I had to slog to work in a woolen suit with jacket, heavy shoes, and a dress shirt buttoned up to my neck with a tie. Meanwhile, women employees (of similar rank) showed up on those days in light skirts, sundresses, sleeveless blouses, and almost nothing on their feet. The male equivalent to that would be shorts, polo shirt and sandals. But that was never an option for most men working professional jobs.

It is what it is, but my point is that every complaint about being a woman can be matched by the men.
