Trump did not employ Fauci, The President toes not control personnel at FDA or NIH. I am so sick of people taking facts out of context to wave them like red flags.
What an asinine suggestion that in the middle of a pandemic a non scientist with no medical training who was nonetheless able to recognize a mountebank should have removed the leading figure in NIH and substituted in midstream.
The American people would have panicked, the MSM would have pilloried Trump. No good could have come of such a move. How would Trump in the middle of the pandemic when he was creating a supply chain, hospital facilities and arranging to supply medical personnel from the Armed forces vetted a replacement? What credentials did he have to pick someone who was qualified. Fauci has impeccable credentials despite being an ass who had failed at every effort he had led (think AIDS).
In the middle of a crisis Trump did sideline Fauci and brig in Navarro. Trump tried to promote drug therapy rather than the “jab” but the medical hierarchy made that impossible. I cannot express how much damage uninformed opinions such as yours have caused by gaslighting and by promotion of untenable impossible solutions Trump could have performed in your mind’s eye.
