One of my few celebrity sightings. Passed him in a stairway at LAX, ca. 1970. Never was a football fan although I knew he was a great player, actually recognized him from movies like 100 Rifles and The Dirty Dozen.

I’ve always heard playing at a professional level for several years can age your body many times faster than the natural rate.
