At one time, I thought this country was fast moving to becoming a South American style Banana Republic. After living through the first 20 plus years of the 21st Century, I have changed my mind.
We are fast moving into what I would call a Sub Saharan ‘Democracy’. At the rate we are moving toward this “fundamental change”, I suspect ‘necklacing’ will be a regular feature on the news shows in ten years or so.

We would be wise to take them at their word, also. They have every intent to inflict as much violence as they can get away with.

And our dirty Uncle Sam has their backs right now.

Give it 25 years. It's going to take them that long to confiscate privately owned firearms. The current mash of gun owners will have to pass, then their survivors turn in the guns.

Heck, it might even be 30 years.
