Germany and, well all of the west to varying degrees remind me of the old Russian proverb with letting in millions of young military age immigrants.

For a second and right before the bear stated devouring the Russian there was a pause and stillness and the Russian’s voice was clearly heard “now I have the bear in a hug…what am I supposed to do?”.

If anyone can’t see the parallels to what is going on and this story I suggest they need to drink less vodka as well.

And the variant to the joke is that big, burly fellow is 1) to have sex with a woman, and 2) kill a bear in hand to had combat. The punchline is “Okay, I had sex with the bear, so now where's the woman I'm supposed to kill?"

As to the parallels, we were legal residents in Germany until my wife's retirement.
