Keep in mind that this is in the UK. Lots of former EV advocates get second thoughts after seeing what cold weather does to range and charging speed. Multiply that with high density areas (EV owners living in apartments and having to use public chargers for normal commutes hate cold weather more than EV owners who charge at a home.)
My wife and I like our EV. But one important factor is that we live in Alabama.
