EVERYONE KNOWS HE DID IT.
BUT THE STATE SURE AS HELL NEVER PROVED IT.
I always thought he was 200% guilty, but a few years ago I heard about additional evidence.
Hell, his own testimony put him at the scene where the body was found, many miles from his home. He is incredibly unlucky that his wife’s murderer decided to dump her body at the same place as he claimed to be fishing, or he is as guilty as hell.
According to the jury, he did. Jeffrey McDonald has spent many years with numerous opportunities to profess he didn’t do it.
Thing is, he did it. And so did Scott.
Of course Lacy and their unborn son is all but forgotten. But ole Scott? He is innocent.
