A transgender woman has sued Maryland’s corrections department in federal court, alleging she was improperly housed with male inmates while jailed for three months in 2021 and 2022 – and was sexually assaulted and denied hormone treatment during that time.
The suit also alleges the plaintiff, Chelsea Gilliam, then was transferred to a different facility but improperly placed in solitary confinement there for about three months because of her gender identity.
The lawsuit, filed this week in US District Court in Maryland against the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services, alleges the department violated Gilliam’s constitutional rights by having her “housed with men, left unprotected from assault, harassed, held in solitary confinement, and denied necessary medical treatment.” Mp> The suit alleges Gilliam “suffered harm, including exacerbation of her gender dysphoria and physical and emotional distress, and she continues to suffer harm from defendants’ actions, including anxiety and depression.” Gender dysphoria describes psychological distress that results from an incongruence between one’s sex assigned at birth and the gender with which that person identifies, according to the American Psychiatric Association.

Hey "girl", there are plenty of stories about being in prison.
Actually it’s a lack of gender identity.
Just because they were locked up did not mean that it was ok for other people to abuse them. And the guards should be punished for allowing it.
I still think that this is true.
But just because it is true does not mean, in this case, that I give a hoot.
Prisoners should not be abused. But he should not get a dime and should never be in a woman's prison.
Solitary confinement seems to be the only way to solve this.
And quit medicating him on my dime.
It is not medically necessary for life, limb or eyesight.
Denied a hormone cocktail. Does that mean I can demand steroids at the expense of others?

If he or it was sent to a woman’s prison, guess what the results would be. He’d figure out he was has an outie part. Then the problems would have gone the other way.
Men's prison and solitary confinement is the only solution.
As a guy was pondering this bull crap the other day… ya got the sports BS the prison BS and all the rest of it. Just let them start their own leagues, businesses, jobs, prisons. Let them get the he// out of and stop corrupting ours. Let’s make sure they have their safe places, far away from a normal Godly society (Sadly that has been for the most part destroyed in the west). Then we don’t have to see women athletes being robed by some psychopathic nut jobs. Just to think, it was only back to the 1970’s that being gay was defined as a mental disorder and treated as such. Oh yah, we still had full blown mental hospitals for these fine people to keep them safely away from society, God for bid it would spread and infect the vulnerable with grooming and a degenerate school system ( the 1st thing they went after). I could go on all night, this is so disgusting. To the grammar police, my apologies in advance. I was the part of the class that made all you hard work look good.
Sex is not assigned at birth. It is observed and noted at birth.
