Karl Malden’s Streets Of SF - maybe.
This is clearly racist
This is what a collapsed society looks like.
Our foreign “adversaries” didn’t do it. We are now a nation against God. The consequences will be insufferable.
I love Streets If San Francisco as with all the mostly never aired QM shows.
Misread your post.
I have all of the DVDs except the lame last season and the CD soundtracks.
TS. Elections matter. No sympathy here.

Will customers be made to pay first?
As always, honest, law-abiding people are adversely affected because of the crimes of other people.
Quite a lot of European retail is like that. No locked shelves, but the stuff is behind a counter and you ask the clerk for it.
I did see a self check out in Madrid this year, for the first time.
Me neither
So now they wait for an employee to unlock it, beat him up and grap stuff and run out.
“Time to go back to Service Merchandise model of shopping. One item for review, you pay, then you get your purchase.”
the other option is membership card shopping, perhaps in some cases store entry is through a double-ended mantrap activated with membership card and associated retinal scans ...
So would I. I could learn to talk to a pig(Arnold Ziffel) and the world would still seem more sane than it is now.
I could live with square eggs, a tractor with a mind of its own, and climbing a pole to use a telephone.
I was reading some story on the first use of shopping carts. Seems back in the old days you would call ahead with your order and the store would fill it and have it ready for you when you came in.
The first store to use carts had to give the folks a big discount in order for the customers to want to put in the effort to walk the store and find the products.
I bet very few remember our NORMAL group and our fight to participate in the “gay pride” parades, I still have my T-shirt.
Sending in our order and having it brought out to the car is happening now.
I like it.
In the town where I grew up they had a fancy store. Back one day in college I was home (40+ years ago) and they had a conveyor belt that looped out to the sidewalk where you could pick up your phone order. All the goods were in big plastic bins, and a person would find your order and take the bags out of the bins and put them in your car at the curb.
I’m surprised that model didn’t take off even more during Covid.
25 years ago when our kids were babies I thought that a drive-through window at the store would be a good idea. Car with a couple of colicky babies that had finally fallen asleep and all you needed was to pick up a prescription and some milk - it would have been nice to just drive up!
