Michele Obama clearly harbors basic contempt for too certain people, and for certain groups or types of people. Her contempt tends to show on her face, especially. But it also affects her body language.
One thing the Brandon administration has shown us is that U.S. presidents can get away with showing brutal contempt for average citizens, even citizens who have suffered great loss (vis. the Palestine Ohio residents, and family members of the dozen Marines who died in connection with the chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan).
What FJB hasn’t shown us yet is whether that kind of behavior is compatible with a successful POTUS re-election bid.
If Brandon declines to run and Michele Obama swoops in, we’ll see if she tries to hide her well-known contempt for many Americans, or if she tries to hide it. At this rate, Michele Obama may decide, and with some substantial justification: To heck with it. POTUS elections being now rigged in perpetuity in favor of the Donkey Party, why should I bother trying to hide my contempt for the American electorate?
