That got lots of airplay on KRLA and KFWB, our Top 40 blasters, in the early months of 1965.
I saw him in concert back in the day. I was about 11 or 12. Great show.
Thanks for that... I remember those years and still play my favorite records/cd’s and online. Just got re-aquainted with B. J. Thomas and found this..I play the songs every day sitting at the computer. Nostalgic!

Such a handsome man and such a sad ending - drugs and alcohol took their toll and he became just a shadow of a man but he could still sing; great sense of humor, became a Christian before dying of lung cancer.
