Some will probably get through. Maybe more than a few. War is always unpredictable.
Radar and AWACS aircraft can look down on the sea and detect motion. These things move fast, but the are not undetectable.

The West has always underestimated Asian powers. And that never went well. A prime example of that is the Russo-Japanese War of 1904 and 1905. Little upstart Japan knocked the snot out of Imperial Russia.
Oops. Maybe I shouldn’t have said “And that never went well.” The West did win the Opium Wars (something that angers China to this day).
