Seriously, someone designated to keep a list. Start on January 1st thru December 31st. Make sure every union in Hollywood has the list taker’s contact information & they relay a passing. It’s really awful for the loved ones of the people left off in memory of montage. A high school student could do it as a side gig. Makes no sense.

Ever met any of the Hollywood types? How about their PR flaks? It’s all contrived. It’s all scripted. In this case while Travolta may be upset over the demise of ONJ overall their tears over their fellow deceased actors are mostly just an act. Yea, I’m jaded but if you met some of these devoids or have had family in the business who have dealt with them you would be too. Harvey Weinstein was more of a rule than an exception. He and the Kevin Spacey’s types are gross slugs.

The point that I was trying to make (badly apparently) is that those in Hollywood mostly don’t really care about anyone but themselves. If they did care about others, they would be marching in Chicago raising hell about all the carnage there. Carnage I’ve been ragging about for over a decade. But they don’t do anything.

I’m sure I’ll have another stupid rant soon. Peace...

I probably should not paint them with such a broad brush, some of the “famous” people I have met over the years were pretty cool. Bob Hope, a very nice and very refined guy. Buddy Hackett, he would not tell dirty jokes with kids around. Phyllis Diller, actually a beautiful woman back in the day. Ann Margaret, stunning but a bit ditzy. Estelle Gettleman (Estelle Getty’s from the Golden Girls), said the “F” word every other word but hilarious. Got drunk with her at the Rainbow Room. Jay Leno, funnier in person. Penn & Teller, two very smart guys. Prince, a jerk. Michael Jordan, worse than Prince. Steven Segal, kind of scary. Bill Clinton, a very good used car salesman who could figure a person out in two seconds. Neil Bush, the Secret Service got pissed off for my drunken rant to him. Barbara Bush, money money money, that’s all she wanted. Dennis Rodman, totally crazy and had calves that looked like they were off a cricket. There are more....

Wow. You sure have met a lot of the really big ones.

I get the Rodman/cricket reference. 😆
