Two of a Chicago firefighter's children have died from injuries sustained in a house fire that also claimed the lives of their mother and brother earlier this week, according to authorities.
The four relatives were seriously injured when a fire broke out at the family home Tuesday night in the 2500 block of North Rutherford Avenue in the city's Montclare neighborhood. When the initial call of the blaze came through, a Chicago firefighter overheard his home address on dispatch, raced to the scene with a Battalion Chief and found his house on fire.
He performed CPR on his wife and children, who suffered smoke inhalation and were transported to area hospitals.

So sorry for that Firefighter.
It’s ironic that he lost his family to a fire, but no one can be in all places at all times. He will need the support of his working buddies to help him through this.
How horrible.
Your own family.
The guy will never recover.
What a horrible tragedy... poor man.
Cause of fire?
I hope its not nefarious.
I can’t even imagine the horror this poor man is dealing with.
Sending up a prayer for the Lord to provide His comfort and strength and to surround this man with love and support. 🙏
