The 'doctors' are listed in the last sentence. Well worth the read!!
Steve Jobs was the co-founder, Chairman and CEO of Apple Corporation and died in 2011, aged 56, after losing his battle with Pancreatic Cancer. He posted the following observation just prior to his death. Do not delete without reading. Very profound and a realization that only became obvious when he was confronted with his certain demise. The World's six best doctors ... worth reading--------- Steve Jobs died a billionaire ( $10.2b ) at age 56. This is his final essay: "I reached the pinnacle of success in the business world. In some others' eyes, my life is the epitome of success. However, aside from work, I have little joy. In the end, my wealth is only a fact of life that I am accustomed to. At this moment, lying on my bed and recalling my life, I realize that all the recognition and wealth that I took so much pride in have paled and become meaningless in the face of my death.
You can employ someone to drive the car for you, make money for you but you cannot have someone bear your sickness for you. Material things lost can be found or replaced. But there is one thing that can never be found when it's lost - Life. Whichever stage in life you are in right now, with time, you will face the day when the curtain comes down. Treasure love for your family, love for your spouse, love for your friends. Treat yourself well and cherish others. As we grow older, and hopefully wiser, we realize that a $300 or a $30 watch both tell the same time. You will realize that your true inner happiness does not come from the material things of this world. Whether you fly first class or economy, if the plane goes down - you go down with it.
Therefore, I hope you realize, when you have mates, buddies and old friends, brothers and sisters, who you chat with, laugh with, talk with, have sing songs with, talk about north-south-east-west or heaven and earth, that is true happiness! Don't educate your children to be rich. Educate them to be happy. So when they grow up they will know the value of things and not the price. Eat your food as your medicine, otherwise you have to eat medicine as your food. There is a big difference between a human being and being human. Only a few really understand it. You are loved when you are born. You will be loved when you die. In between, you have to manage! The six best doctors in the world are rest, exercise, diet, self-confidence, family and friends. Maintain them in all stages and enjoy a healthy life.
I totally understand Job’s thinking. I’d far prefer doing everything naturally.
I take 12 nutritional supplements per day and have every day for the last 50 years. My marvelous, enlightened doctor prescribes them, making them tax deductible. Plus I eat everything organic. Pasture raised eggs and beef qualify.
And then last month I went to the hospital with congestive heart failure and have to take 4 prescription drugs every day. Checked with my own doc, he said “Take them. You’re strong enough to handle them. And also the terrifying “cardioversion” procedure scheduled for next week, which electronically resets your heart rhythm.
We made a promise to meet at the gym where we’re both members (who knew?”) Sunday afternoon after the procedure.
Who in the world is lucky enough to have an MD like this? I really feel blessed. He’s a good Christian too. From Nigeria.
Again, it’s a hoax email. That someone reposted it on LinkedIn does not change that
My Dad always used to say “I’ve never seen a Brinks truck follow a hearse to the grave”.
Bill Gates (Windows,Office) has made my life easier and more productive.Samsung’s smart phones have also done so.
It certainly looks to me as if the last place on earth that you’re *certain* to find genuine Christians is Africa.
Nigeria. Ibo tribe. Very high IQs, fast tracked for immigration, make great docs and lawyers. I think my doc’s wife is an MD too.
Pedophiles like my own father and his circle of perverted friends did not warrant any prayers from me.
A simple story, when my mother passed away (awaiting an urgent non emergency cardiac surgery) , she did a bedside confessional with my youngest brother John who was local. It weighed heavy on my brother, very , unfair guilt transfer to him, he’s not a priest. She was a pedophile enabler and felt relief. I learned of my father’s history of perversion at her funeral. “We don’t speak of such things.”
Two years later when my father (ours) was in failing critical health, (cardiac failure), my same brother, still local, got “the call” from the hospital to “come quick, your father wants to talk to you”. John called me to let me know (distant) , and i told him that “no, you’re not going there to hear anything. we will talk on the phone until he’s dead”. Fortyfive minutes, he was outside in the hospital parking lot, and the old pedophile who molested my brother’s daughter, among others, died alone awaiting God’s judgment.
I have no sympathy for everyone evil. I would not have done anything to help with his salvation.
I am a sinner, absolutely. And i pray for my own Grace and Redemption. in fact, i will include you because unlike my father , you have compassion and selflessness.

Beautiful, RR. I've also asked, "In case it's true, would you go before a judge without a lawyer?"
I am so sorry. May everyone else in your family gain healing and security in baptism, true repentance and assurance of Salvation.
:-)
Thank you. Some are broken and healing.
When you get Alzheimer's and those events are wiped from your memory what value did any of it really have. It really isn't about you. Love your neighbor as yourself is a better prescription. It takes away the self-centered act of collecting memories into a responsibility to try to make your small corner of the world a better place for anybody that lives around you.
Don't educate your children to be rich. Educate them to be happy.
Nice fairy tale but with the median home price at over $400k, if you can do it, teach them to be rich. That will be their only route to having a family with a decent chance of what used to be called a normal life.
For those that say "money can't buy friends", I leave you with this fact: A Golden Retriever is the best friend that money can buy.
Anything you see on the Internet that is sourced as “email from a friend” is likely a hoax.
Jobs did not have to die. I had the exact kind of cancer he did. I elected to have surgery, and he didn’t.
Instead, he wanted to go “the natural” route. Of course, cancer “naturally” spreads.
I have read that he was a "fruitarian." He ate nothing but fruit.
When I first read this, the thought occurred to me that this must have contributed to his getting pancreatic cancer.
I cannot believe a diet of nothing but fruit can be good for your pancreas.
What thing did he design?
From what i've read about him, all he did was yell and scream at engineers to come up with stuff, and then he picked the best of what they created and took credit for it.
And it was neuroendocrine not adenocarcinoma. One of the rarer but truly curable pancreatic cancers
And yet Christ died for your father
