Put those 87,000 brand new IRS auditors to work.

What was their slogan again?

Has anyone noticed? USPS employees are probably getting triple time for staying home.

Ah, but you see? These storms are caused by global warming and even the post office can not stand up against that.

But...but...but...how are all the poor and downtrodden “voters” in California, Iowa, Michigan and Minniesoda going to receive the boxes of “mail in banana ballots” during the next “election”?

Just change the rules and you no longer have “appointed rounds”. Simple.

their appointed rounds”
To: Libloather
Oh! Closed due to weather.
Not that it matters, seems a good portion of the mail
was found by the byways and highways in a number of
areas. What will THEY do when early Novemer and heavy snowfall manage to get together next year?

For real. We don’t want people out there trying to deliver mail that is simply not that important when it can wait. My wife was a rural carrier and some of the days they wanted them to deliver mail were simply stupid! The mail can wait.

This is scaremongering clickbait. I’m sure there are places where *1* post office closed for *1* day, and this story makes it sound like they rolled up the building and went home for good.

APWU Celebrates Its 50th Anniversary Thursday, July 1, 2021
Here is the funny part.
I went to the APWU website looking for images.
The latest press release was July 1, 2021
Celebrating 50 yrs since the great postal strike.
Tortoisola Postaitus still exists in the wild.

So much for “rain, sleet and dark of night.” Wait’ll our military does the same thing for fear someone will get hurt.
