I certainly hope the findings aren’t applicable to CBD.

So, what does being a politician lead too ?

Hardening of the Heart.

The Bible considers the heart to be the hub of human personality, producing the things we would ordinarily ascribe to the “mind.”

For example, Scripture informs us that grief (John 14:1); desires (Matthew 5:28); joy (Ephesians 5:19); understanding (Isaiah 6:10; Matthew 13:15);

thoughts and reasoning (Genesis 6:5; Hebrews 4:12; Mark 2:8); and, most importantly, faith and belief (Hebrews 3:12; Romans 10:10; Mark 11:23) are all products of the heart.

Also, Jesus tells us that the heart is a repository for good and evil and that what comes out of our mouth – good or bad – begins in the heart (Luke 6:43–45).

1/3 more likely? It’d have to be a lot worse than that for people to stop using it. I suspect eating red meat several times a week is at least as bad, but most people don’t give that up either.

CBD is much different. The body produces CBD naturally. I think SMOKING marijuana is the key here. Edibles aren’t covered.

Any correlation with the rest of their lifestyles?
I do believe drugs are bad for you but drug users overall are probably less concerned with their health to begin with.
On the other hand, I do not wish to judge people already in pain.

Most likely worse, since the users hold in the smoke for maximum effect!...................

All these stories totally avoid that topic. Which is why they lose credibility in their objectivity. I imagine that if tobacco smoker quits smoking tobacco and switches to Pot then not much changes for them in terms of this medical issue.

Eating red meat is good for you because humans are natural meat eaters. Breathing in smoke and holding it in your lungs is bad largely because humans are not natural smoke filters.

At 80, I’m doing OK with my arteries as it is—zero Marijuana—just one stent.

My usual FR Mantra again:

“The history book on Marijuana has yet to be written”.

You’ll remember Obama’s “Choom Gang”...

Hawaiian friends would close up a car to keep the “good” smoke from escaping.

I’m not wishing a death of cancer on anyone. My mother developed lung cancer, which metastaized to kill her. And she was a non-smoker!

“The history book on Marijuana has yet to be written”.

Where have you been? They’ve been smoking reefer and hash on the island of Cypress for millennia...

High School government teacher (a retired Army Colonel) told us that and they said they don’t have any minds left.

It’s biblically described as sorcery as in
(pharmakeíā) f (genitive φᾰρμᾰκείᾱς); first declension. pharmacy; the use of drugs or medicines. sorcery, witchcraft.

The Witch of Endor... in that passage they use the Greek word pharmakeia... and in other versus as well.
