1) can someone briefly and accurately define what “woke” is?, and
2) What the hell does “woke” have against this movie?
A complete dismantling of propaganda productions. That’s what the woke left hates about “Tropic Thunder”, because that’s who and what they are. It stings badly.

The only way I’ve been able to conceive of why the word “woke” is used is to think of the pod people in “Invasion of the Body Snatchers” as “woke” versions of their victims. Ie. awoken to a new reality of compulsory conformity and shrieks at anyone still caught out as human.
Woke means one has been awakened, by hard left proselytizing, to the “true’ state of the world .
