It does make sense when you realize that the top tier of attractive men generally are “dating” multiple women nowadays, and the women seem to prefer that to the alternative, dating just one man who is not quite as attractive.
Three things:
1. Too many whimpy self absorbed “men”.
2. The why marry when milk is free.
3. In our new age, marriage is almost legally one way street.
this seems to be the only explanation.
It could be even better explained by the lower end of society also.
I know a man who has had children with 8 different women. Yeah, its exactly the sort of situation you think it is.
Anyway, his 8 baby-mommas, if asked, may consider themselves "committed." He certainly does not.
