When I was a kid, we didn’t panic and bring the government in when a storm was predicted.
I think you are on to something
It was 87 in this part of Texas yesterday. More proof that “man-made climate change” is a Swedish meatball diaper crock ‘o’ crap. All weather is local!!!
LOL! !!
Looks like it, doesn’t it?
By the winter storm but south of that line is a lot of high wind warnings and red flag and fire watch warnings. It’s going to be very windy across muchof the country.
That actually happens the closer the temperatures are to freezing.
Warmer air can hold much more moisture than colder air, which is why there are rarely heavy snowfalls with the temperatures are near 0°F.
Sorry for the confusion, Montana.
We do not get to practice using minus signs very often in the Pacific northwest.
The record all time low in Seattle was 0 degrees F, in January 1950.
Sweet. It’s getting hot in Florida already.
Ive been getting my money’s worth on the Epic pass here in Park City. Im down to under $30 per day
That’s what they WANT you to believe. The actual truth is too strange and shocking to reveal.
I only bought four day tickets. They are good any non holiday.
So, I only have one left on the prepaid card.
They had a deal up here in New England where you could buy up to ten day passes good every day except holidays. So, I could not use them this past weekend.
My sister has been spending the winter in Minnesota trying to get her snowblower to start. She gave up and uses a shovel.
I bought her the snowblower several years ago so she would not have to.... She says she stored it away with Sta-Bil Storage Fuel Stabilizer and she has since put fresh gas in and also used Gumout Carb and Choke Cleaner.
And California will mismanage the water supply for the bait fish.
It’s late winter. Such storms happen every few years. Yes, it makes people miserable, causes destruction, and some lives are lost. People have had at least a week’s warning that this storm was approaching. Hopefully, they stocked up on supplies, made arrangements for alternative heat and lighting sources should their main source be shut off, and are hunkering down waiting for it to pass. And, stay off the roads. You don’t want to get stranded and your stalled vehicle adds chaos which prevents emergency personnel from rescuing others. Also, I hope people checked on their elderly family and neighbors to make sure they are prepared to weather the storm.
