Great Detroit Band!
They finally let the drummer sing ONE song, and that was the one that went big and that they are remembered for.
The lead singer must be heart broken
One of those songs that was NOT a huge hit when it came out, but has been used in about a dozen commercials since, so everybody knows it.
Only got up to 49 on Billboard.
Great running song!
One of the most fun, satisfying tunes to play at the end of a gig. Everyone loves it. This and “My Sharona” by the Knack.
This was a big one in Lubbock at the college clubs.
Always liked “talking in your sleep” better. Great guitar riff in the chorus.
Best rock song of all time. Well, in the top one thousand songs of all time. “What I like about You” by the Romantics was the first song to make dancing fun. The Go Go’s Beauty and the Beat is much better.
My Sharona sucked. Played to death during the summer of ‘79.
No it does not. Killer guitar solo. Chicks dig it. ‘nuff said.
