God when I was 10, I know its weird, I read the Rand-McNally map religiously.

Miss those simpler times.

I like maps, but even more was the Encyclopedia. Had a row of them in the den. Much like the internet of today. My mom would get mad at me for having a bunch of them strewn out on the floor.

Reading about WWII it would say “Hitler”, so I'd have to pull out that book to read about that guy, and then they'd mention somebody named “Mussolini”, etc.
