The District in DC will let her go with time served.
There was a TV series named The District in the early 2000s. Coach, Craig T. Nelson, was the police chief. DC crime & politics intrigue. One of the lead characters actually died during the run of the series...then they had her "die" in the series. The program never recovered and may have been on the way out by then, anyway. I enjoyed it.
