Congresswoman Ilhan Omar (D-MN) claimed she didn’t know about the history behind her past rhetoric — when pressed by CNN’s Dana Bash over the anti-Semitic tropes the congresswoman has previously pushed.

Omar is probably surrounded by persons who think, believe, and talk as she does. Just like some Arab countries, and any areas controlled by PLO, Hamas, Hezbollah, Iran, etc, if everyone around you talks a certain way, it is ‘normal’ to you.
Reminds me of when I was still very young and would see the news that the USSR had allowed a few Jews to leave the USSR. To this day I remember thinking, back then, ‘why can’t Jewish people leave at other times?’ Once I became old enough to understand the evil of communism, I understood the insanity of not being able to leave a place, that all communists and tyrants build walls, not just to secure their borders, but especially to keep their citizen-prisoners from escaping to freedom.
Perhaps Omar should receive a one way trip to Afghanistan, and see how she and all the other women are treated.
