Covid, like all flues, can kill the young and healthy. But the odds are very very low.
Just like there is no such thing as anything being 100% safe and effective… so too is there no such thing as only the old and sick die from it.

Therein lies the rub. I was 60 - so was I old or not? I had a pre-existing medical condition (epilepsy) but controlled with drugs. Was I sick?
So, I got the original J&J shot. And then over the next year I got....COVID, shingles, and had my first seizure in 9 years.
Count me among those who wish I had abstained from the shot.
