““Knowing the long-term effects of these injections will help osteoarthritis patients and clinicians make more informed decisions for managing the disease and the pain it causes,” Dr. Upadhyay Bharadwaj added.”
Vicodin worked for me. Now it is cortisone injections, high doses of Advil and monthly biologics injections. And I feel no better than when I took a Vicodin.
Well, I am on these shots for 15 years, and they keep me going. I would say, I am better of now, than I was 15 years ago.
So who knows?!
NOW they tell us! I just had my right knee shot. Relief lasted about a week, and simultaneously my left HIP has developed severe pain when I try to walk!
I cured my knee pain, diagnosed as bone-on-bone with an X-ray, by walking more every day.
When you look at the possible side effects of most modern medicines, unless it’s a life or death situation, is it really worth it?
Thanks.

I stopped eating bread and sweets and my knees stopped hurting.
