National Guard informs troops last paycheck before Christmas will be late as Biden admin sends billions to Ukraine
The Post Millennial ^ | 23 Dec22 | Post Millennial

On Friday it was revealed that the Biden administration failed to pay numerous National Guard troops their final year end pay on time during the week of Christmas. The failure came after approving a contoversial additional $45 billion aid package to Ukraine, and the House passing a $1.7 trillion spending plan.

"Hello gents," began a letter sent to members of the National Guard, obtained by The Post Millennial, "if you have been tracking, the pay issue that has been plaguing the unit and the division as well." Reports came in from Pennsylvania, Georgia, and South Carolina from troops angered and upset that their pay hadn't yet come through…..

You understand that this is complete bs. National guard troops will be paid when the 1.7 trillion continuing resolution is passed and signed. The same 1.7 trillion bill allocated the money to Ukraine, so they are to be paid out at the same time.

Of the $45 billion, about 25% will be used to buy weapons, 20% may go to humanitarian needs, and 55% will be used to line the pockets of politicians both in Ukraine and here.

“Smelling a rat: nobody in today’s Guard would address an email “Hello gents”…”

Women were allowed to join the National Guard as officers in 1956. Women were not able to join the ranks as enlisted members until 1968. But that’s 24 years ago and Biden has been in political office since 1973. That means that the commander of the national guard, POTUS who is responsible for anything involving the guard, Biden at this time, has been in office with the women in the guard at all levels his whole political career. So how many gents are out there that are women in disguise? At least I guess it wasn’t a pronoun.

“...National guard troops will be paid...”

Unlike the regular military, guard troops are paid for the hours they work after the fact like most of the civilian world. This means that they have a voucher submitted for them and they are paid under normal conditions like the civilian populous. It is a lot like a bill to the government from HR. So at what point does the government go overdue and violate the contract between the feds and the guard members as they are on a paid for play situation? And how many will walk?

Right. Because there is direct bookkeeping link between the Coast Guard paymaster and foreign aid.

This Christmas the children of National Guardsmen & women WANT
lumps of coal in their stockings - to keep the house warm.

But this year, thanks to Biden, many will get ice cubes instead.
