I don’t know. For three hours you watch the ball going from one end of the field to the other and finally in the shootout in the last five-to-ten minutes maybe there’s some actual scoring.

What I don’t understand is if you don’t like the sport that’s fine, I’m not a huge fan of it either, why trash it, I do appreciate the athletic talent and conditioning of the players and it’s pretty interesting how involved the fans and countries all over the world get into it.
The TV ratings for today’s game will dwarf the Super Bowl ratings multiple times over.

My husband feels the reason soccer is so popular, worldwide AND in US children’s level, is it is so cheap.
All they need is a ball.
No special equipment. Even field hockey nd lacrosse need more equipment.
