Hypothermia in Tampa.
This global cooling is worse than I realized.
Blessings to the two workers.
The author is showing his bias. Dylan Abad looks like a soy boy.
>>Officials with Waste Management told News Channel 8 their drivers are trained to act as an extra set of eyes and ears for sheriff’s deputies, police, fire department, and emergency services.
That’s smart. Often they are under contract with the local county or municipality, and actions like this would tend to make the local decision makers (county commissions and managers, city councils and managers, etc.) think positively about WM.
Plus it’s just the right thing to do, civically.
Well I have driven into a trap before but never been trapped when I was driving.
Vhat in der vurld?
It would be interesting to know how he flipped the golf cart. It’s not easy to do. I’ve almost done it a few times myself with sharp turns on an incline.
Here at Jurassic Park, we have had several incidents where golf carts were driven into lagoons after medical emergencies. And a few after adult beverages.
““WM employees have undergone proper training in what to look for and how to respond in the case of an emergency or unusual activity,””
How interesting - we are lucky to have our trash picked up on the scheduled day by that company.
Something about Waste Management as a company. I worked for them for 7 years. and I don’t know if they still do, but they treated their employees with respect and appreciation. Good garbage guys who can use their heads are actually hard to find. It is a very demanding occupation and you are all on in high gear for 12 hours straight and still have to use your head to be safe and not bash stuff.
But union guys got no more or less than what the union asked for. Those of us who were not union were treated even better and got all kinds of perks not given to the union guys. So there was a very high level of integrity among the employees because they were treated right by the company. It was a great company to work for at the time... :)
