Look, I’m not endorsing anything. Honestly I’m very happy with my iPhone. Two weeks ago the buzz was whether Musk would produce a phone. It looks to me like he’s serious.

It’s a lot of laughs for you but I doubt Apple laughs off the prospect. Yeah, and that crazy ba$tard wants to put a man on Mars. If someone doesn’t off him first, I think he will. Personally, I’m very happy with my Iphone. Unfortunately, it’s produced by Apple, which I don’t care for.

I posted earlier, the BlackBerry OS was excellent, and it already has been created by Research in Motion. Why re-invent the wheel?
Let me ask you this, will Apple make any further noise about trying to kneecap Twitter? I guarantee Apple is not blowing off the prospect of aTesla phone.
If Apple were to ban Twitter, if Elon Musk brought out a phone, it could cause a stampede away from Apple for those interested in a dedicated Twitter phone.
I think Elon Musk would use Android, since it’s free.
My belief is that Tim Cook will not ban Twitter because of that risk. Apples only product these days is their phone and Ipad. Losing customers would really hurt the company.
He will have to find to bridge from the IOS and Android eco system. I would love to jump from my Apple phone but I have years of photos, messages, notes etc that certainly would not want to lose.

I’m sure there is a FBI/DHS presence at Apple, one of the preeminent influencers across the planet. The Apple intimidation floated to try to undercut the resurrection of Trump’s Twitter account two weeks ago failed. Now that Musk is naming names and dropping proof, how much pressure is DC IC applying to Apple to shut Musk down NOW. It’s the same stakes as when the FBI was full on Stalinist in railroading Trump off of Twitter. I think this, released now, basically says, bring it! I love this guy.

Apple, supposedly, isn't nearly as bad as google, which is pure evil, but they constantly pushing the envelope of customer privacy.
It now seems that they are working hand in glove with the CCP to take down freedom protestors.
Why would the carriers have to offer it? StarLink is global WiFi. If the Tesla phone had a transceiver for the StarLink system it wouldn’t depend on terrestrial repeaters and congestion. There would be no system buildout and his consumer base potential would be all worldwide current cell phone users.
I suppose he can offer it on his own website.
I just don’t know how quickly it would sell that way.
