Thanks for the Music Mr. Stewart, RIP Visited Stax Records studio and museum in Memphis a few years ago.

Lot of history there along with a lot of great music.

The piece mentions Booker T and the MG's but I did not see the names of Steve Cropper, Donald "Duck" Dunn. People will recall them both from the Blues brothers movie as well as Saturday Night Live (early years).

Also not mentioned is Aretha Franklin, tewart, RIPshe grew up down the street from Stax Records, but her career really started in NYC, Atlantic Records

She moved to Detroit when she was five, down the street from Smokey Robinson.
