Ah! I get it...a more “serious” treatment of this was done by Travis McGee at the link above!
Agreed, but some actually are trying. I read recently that several popular businesses like Rain PDX, Nike and Starbucks have shuttered their stores in Portlandia.
The owner of Rain PDX, high end outdoors clothier, left a “strongly worded” note on their door as they closed the last time. (Hahaha, a mugged lib trying to be serious) it’s a sure bet these displaced business owners voted for the tyrants that have ruined the city.
One thing is for sure, the entire state of Oregon has a very long row to hoe before we see any sign of sanity. It’s certainly going to be interesting to watch.
They can turn them on and off at will.
Sort of. After a long period of riots, I think they had to be told to stop or else in order to get them to stop so quickly. I do agree with your sole ownership statement.

1. I never ever stop (at a red light or anywhere) nearer than 15 feet from the vehicle in front. This allows me to accelerate out even if the timid fool in front is afraid to move.
2. If I see even a hint of a protest, I get in the inside lane, so I’m not trapped along the curb side by vehicles on my left.
3. If anybody stands in front of my vehicle, I’m going to move forward at 5mph. At 5mph or 35, a human cannot stop or even slow a vehicle. Its many horsepower vs one human power. No contest. Car wins. At 5mph, you are demonstrating (to a later hypothetical court) that your intention was not to run anybody down. They can simply move out of the way, or not.
4. After the Portland beat down, I have a reasonable fear of death or grave bodily injury if I’m pulled from my vehicle by an angry mob. I’m not stopping. I’ll keep a steady 5 mph forward speed.
5. If I see a gun brandished, or one of my windows is breached, I’m going hammer down, and to hell with anybody in front of me. “Fear for my life.”
6. I will not pull my own gun as long as my vehicle is moving. It’s just a better weapon than a pistol, and the vehicle gets you clear of the danger zone, a pistol does not.
7. I will only pull my pistol if my vehicle is physically stopped, (and I don’t mean by idiots standing in front of it.)

They are literally the DNC’s ‘Brown Shirts’ of this era...................
It is better to be judged by twelve than to be carried by six.
Portland is a liberal wasteland with no hope in sight. They need Biblical level law and order, and that will never happen in this lifetime.
Rom 13:1-4: ....there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.
The entire left coast desperately needs some Frank Hamer law enforcement. "Manos arriba, you ...."
Like I said, they're a lost cause.
Save your money and buy a Knight XV, add a South American flame thrower and tear gas system to it.
In that case, it is your duty as a citizen to create as high a body count as possible.
” move to eastern Oregon, No. California”
Those places are no longer safe. September 2020, BLM was camping in Hawthorne Park in Medford Oregon, harassing drivers, disturbing traffic, attacking cars. A few days later, someone burned 2 suburbs down, including my home.
Or wisely plan ahead and make that move before the BLM situation arises. We were strolling around downtown Coeur d’Alene, Idaho yesterday morning and didn’t spot a single BLM type of any color.
I recommend Ranch Hand Bumper Grill Guard.
Yeah, if not welded on “ visible deterrence spikes.”
I would shoot them. Duh.
This is why the 2nd amendment doesn’t say anything about gun or musket. It says ‘Arms’.
She was armed.
The weapon at her disposal happened to be 2500 pounds.
I visited family in rural Oregon near Roseburg almost 3 years ago now, right before Covid hit. It seemed very conservative and sane, even went to a gun show in Roseberg. Portland seems like it must be another planet compared to the rural areas.
the woman is right to not accept a plea deal, and she really needs to go after Antifa in civil court and sue them for every penny they have or will ever have!
She did the exact correct thing when she feared for her life.
I saw a video of a guy in South Africa that had a manifold all under his car that had propane and an electric igniter. It would bbq antifa well.
I’ve been leaving half a car length or more between me and whoever is in front of me at a light for a lonnnnnng time now. Sometimes it upset other drivers who are apparently anal-retentive and want to see cars lined up bumper-to-bumper.
But avoiding high-traffic areas has been another long-time habit, too. I take the scenic route whenever possible.
If anyone runs out in front of me, I act like I don’t see ‘em and step on the gas. I’ve also been doing that for a long time, having lived in a number of hoods where idiots encourage their kids to run out in front of cars for whatever reason.
I wouldn’t actually shoot someone unless s/he had hands on my car, but I WOULD brandish a firearm to discourage people from getting too close - or have my passenger brandish said firearm while I mowed down whoever was trying to stop us.
