I worked for a city in eastern Washington 1993 when one of their 10 million gallon water tanks faild a flushed down the hillside wiping out several hundred okd growth sagebrush plants (trees?). The city had to pay a $40,000 fine to the DNR

It seems to grow like a weed everywhere. Totally shocked it could in anyway be endangered!
