Dinosaur World is in Hillsborough County about ten miles past the Polk County line (Polk is Grady Judd’s fiefdom), so the PCSO deputies must have had some support.
I don’t know how it is in Florida, but in Massachusetts a peace officer has police power in the entire state. Crossing a town or county line to beat a ticket or arrest doesn’t work. A Boston cop can arrest or ticket you in Springfield. There appears to be some kind of reciprocity between Massachusetts and New Hampshire, at least. Felons fleeing across the NH/MA state line can be pursued and arrested by either flavor of cop in either state. They may have to be extradited, but the pursuing officer turns the perp over to the locals.
There was a holy bruhaha when local cops got into a fist fight with staties over directing traffic outside of Gillette Stadium. Apparently the staties thought that that was their rice bowl, but some locals underbid them for the overtime gig paid for by the Stadium.
It is at the intersection of Interstate 4 and Forbes Road. Interstate 4 has an overpass there that goes over Forbes Road.
Just West of Plant City.
