He isn’t President. He’s the governor of Florida. So that’s why he talks about Florida.

Ron DeSantis IS the Governor of Florida and as such can speak definitively on behalf of the State of Florida.
He has no authority to speak on behalf of the United States, nor any authority over Seal Team Anything.
He is not currently a candidate for any office, so it is irrational to expect him to speak of what he might do if he held some office other than Governor of Florida.
That’s what I thought about the Marine Corps in 1991. But like everything else in America, the Communist maggots burrowed in to feast on that institution, along with the rest of America. Florida resists, for now. And as with the US military, the Communists will not rest until they corrupt Florida and every other state that resists.
I was in the Marine Corps at that time, and like you, I never thought that would happen.
Well, DeSantis isn't President, and isn't even a declared candidate. So obviously, sending SEAL 6 isn't something he can do. He's just the newly re-elected governor of Florida, so he's talking about what he can do in Florida.
But Trump is the only declared candidate currently running for President, so what he'd do as President is on the table. So, shouldn't Trump be the first one to announce that, if elected, he's going to send SEAL Team 6 to Germany to kill a German citizen?

Shortly after waking this morning, I saw an ad for a new movie coming out about the “journey” of a gay US Marine. When I enlisted, it was forbidden. While I served, they made it optional. I left before they made it mandatory. I’ll be giving that movie a miss.
