If you click on the far right column, which shows “food & fitness”, you can see that the Southern states take up most of the first top 10 or so. All that fried food, I think. Yummy, but have to eat those sparingly.

Nah, Southerners have always fried stuff but have only gotten fat fairly recently. The problem is the same as everywhere else, which is too many carbs. They’re just so cheap and grabbable nowadays.
