That the problem with American series; they run too long, the premise gets exhausted and the show turns into a soap opera.
The Brits often produce six or eight great episodes and leave it at that.

Richard Benjamin. From what I remember, most of his roles were nervous Jewish guys from New York; sort of a taller Woody Allen without the creepy personal life. He also married Paula Prentiss, who was pretty tall for a girl.
