Homo say what?
Who dug up the old queen?
He, unfortunately, went one step to far and implicated parents as being part of the hoax.
Yeah, it’s a fun threat to the ‘outside media,’ but unless you’re an absolute numbskull of a judge, it’s a clear 1st Amendment freedom. Even if Connecticut tries to claim Alex was making profits from a misleading statement. FDA? CDC? Helloooo?
It’s the same old story,
Everywhere I go,
I get slandered, I get libeled,
I hear words I never heard in the Bible
And I’m so tired, so tired
But I’m trying to keep my customers satisfied,
Satisfied.
True. Probably why he wasn't charged with a crime.
Has Napolitano ever been right about anything?
A billion dollar verdict demonstrates they are treating the case frivolously and without due consideration.
Sure, and if he’d clearly stated that it was his OPINION that the parents were involved, there would have been no judgement against him.
The problem was that he presented it as *facts* and that’s what got him.
Meanwhile, a commie RAT wants to give the Bad Day At Uvalde crowd $300 million TAXPAYER DOLLARS to “punish” Texas gun owners and Republican politicians. The boy is acting like he’s doing too much happy smoke. I haven’t heard of any schools where the kids were Caucasian, African American, Chinese, Indian, Native American joining the rich American millionaires club to punish people who had nothing to do with the school shooting. In Uvalde, they need to punish their chickenspit cops who stood down so they could hide while the kids were being murdered. According to Rodriguez’s bill, they too would more than likely get in the big bucks from his Kick the Gringo’s asses bill.
i hope so- BUT then again andrew napolitano aint been right on much
Never happened. He referenced widely circulated theories and articles, interviewed guests, and pointed out weird things. He did not present it as a fact.
There is no video of his saying it was a confirmed fact.
But nice straw man.
Not really - he didn’t disclaim it as opinion. That’s the problem (for him).
“In Connecticut, punitive damages are limited to attorney’s and legal fees, but since the families sued Jones using the Unfair Trade Practices Act, the punitive damages award is “not limited to the expenses of bringing the legal action,” wrote University of Connecticut Law Professor Sachin S. Pandya in an email to First Amendment Watch.”

“CHAPTER 735a*
UNFAIR TRADE PRACTICES
....
Sec. 42-110g. Action for damages. Class actions. Costs and fees. Equitable relief. Jury trial
....
The court may, in its discretion, award punitive damages and may provide such equitable relief as it deems necessary or proper
....
(g) In any action brought by a person under this section there shall be a right to a jury trial except with respect to the award of punitive damages under subsection (a) of this section or the award of costs, reasonable attorneys’ fees and injunctive or other equitable relief under subsection (d) of this section.”

Post the video... ever wonder why that video proof wasn’t played 24/7 when that verdict came in?

"if he’d clearly stated that it was his OPINION that the parents were involved, there would have been no judgement against him."
Now, unfortunately, I don't have all his statements of interest.
He has a new series ya’ know?
“Poofter’s Law’
This has “Documents and Resources” about 90% of the way down, including the formal legal complaints.

There’s also this (for which I have no time to examine):

That’s the real question. While Crazy Jones is a moron and a jerk it is difficult to see his defamation case standing up against the 1st Amend the real interesting question is whether the Traffic Court Judge will be proved right.
