I’ve been saying that for years here at FR, but far too many FReepers still believe in the Tooth Fairy and the “arena of ideas”
This story is not going to change any votes. That’s the DC elite’s thinking which is to try to pull off a stupid stunt to help Democrats win. They still don’t know us fly-over country folks too well. One person’s action isn’t something we all would paint an entire party with. That’s the Democrat’s way, not ours.

That seems to be true. There’s sort of a reverse provincialism occurring. The deep blue city folks rarely venture from their confines. All their friends and acquaintances are Democrats because there are no conservatives where they live. Their news sources are all leftist. The opposite is true in flyover country. We even visit (or used to visit) big cities. Crime sort of deters that now.
Big deal. Those whineyass RATs are always “lashing out” at Republicans. This is nothing new. They need to change the name of the party to the Ex-wife Party. Nag, Nag, Nag.
There is a good chance this story is going to explode in their face because it was NOT a “Trump” supporter and the original story does not seem to be supported by the emerging facts.
Paul seems to live a reckless lifestyle.
While this incident does not appear to have been staged, it could have been planned in advance, unbeknownst to the hapless Paul Pelosi.
