Yep, that is it. You have to go get a namecoin ID. I haven’t got that far yet myself. Didn’t have anyone there I knew to play with. But somewhere there is a directory of sites. Go check that out, some cool stuff, free movies and such.

Yeah, sorry. I wasn’t responding to you in particular. Just the thread in general.

This mastodon software, which has been around about 7 years, is not so much ‘decentralization’ as ‘federalization.’ You can create your own site using this but allow access to other sites also using the same software in a confederation of nodes.
